It’s that time of year again! The holiday season kicks off next week as many will gather around the Thanksgiving table with family and friends. In honor of the upcoming holiday, we asked Gresham Smith employees to share their favorite Thanksgiving dishes.
I want to say my favorite Thanksgiving dish is well roasted Brussel sprouts with just the right amount of caramelization—but deep in my heart I know that I’m always going to grab the mashed potato bowl before anything else on the table.

Growing up I was never a cake person, but eight or so years ago my family had an amazing pumpkin praline torte cake on Thanksgiving that I couldn’t stop eating. Every year since, my step dad has made it for me on my birthday because I love it that much. Check out the recipe and try it for yourself!

My favorite dish for Thanksgiving supper is my wife’s ham. It’s not a traditional dish, but over the years we’ve made it our family tradition. And that’s who we are—a family of traditions.
My two nieces always request that my mom makes macaroni and cheese at Thanksgiving and this recipe has become a family favorite. We can only eat it once a year!
