To promote Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging within our firm, we have launched four Employee Resource Networks (ERNs). Each of these groups supports the DEI&B of Gresham Smith’s workforce by fostering inclusion to deliver well-rounded workplace experiences for employees of diverse backgrounds.
Advisory Committee
Gresham Smith has established a DEI&B Advisory Committee to support the firm’s overall Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging program and to individually act as DEI&B ambassadors across the firm. Our Employee Resource Networks report to this diverse group of individuals who guide the ERNs in researching, developing and proposing ideas that will help create a supportive, positive and inclusive work environment for all employees at Gresham Smith. The committee’s Advisory Chair reports directly to our CEO to keep him apprised of the ERN’s progress.

LGBTQ+ Alliance
.
Our LGBTQ+ Alliance Employee Resource Network promotes acceptance for a safe, inclusive and equitable atmosphere for all our staff, including employees who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual, and agender, along with their allies.
We aim to engage staff, families and the community in activities and events that support our overarching goal of achieving greater awareness, advocacy, inclusion, and equity for those who identify as LGBTQ+.
IMAGE
(Inclusive Multiculturalism for Advancement, Growth and Equity)
Promoting the advancement and growth of multiculturalism, the IMAGE Employee Resource Network is committed to providing advocacy and education to drive inclusive behaviors, prepare diverse staff for promotional opportunities and foster equity across all employee demographics.
We strive to expand our recruitment outreach with the goal to increase diversity in our candidate pool, which will translate to more diverse staff who can be promoted into leadership roles.
Women’s ERN
Pay equity. Career Advancement Development. External Mentoring. Promoting awareness. The Women’s Employee Resource Network seeks to make a difference in the firm by focusing on these four pillars, and researching and recommending solutions to issues affecting women.
Passionate and proactive, we are dedicated to empowering women, helping them to grow and advance their leadership skills, broaden their professional network, and participate in mentoring opportunities—both within the firm and externally.
Parent/Caregiver
Happy at home. Highly productive at work. Successfully managing family and work-life balance through strategies that support and nurture our employees is the cornerstone of the Parent/Caregiver Employee Resource Network.
We aim to identify and make accessible a wide breadth of internal and external resources to all Gresham Smith employees. These resources will not only equip our firm with practical information and possible situational solutions, but also with all-important emotional support opportunities.
Well-being
The Well-being ERN mission is to bring awareness and engage in conversation surrounding the topics of mental illness/health issues, physical disabilities/impairments, and neurodiversity in order to break the stigmas around these issues. This ERN will work to initiate change in firm practices, policies, and benefits to better accommodate and support employees who identify as, or support those with, mental illness/health issues, physical disabilities/impairments, and neurodiversity.
We are committed.
