Infrastructure is the most aging asset in this country and often receives attention only on an as needed basis, especially when there’s an increased demand for services. To implement a more holistic master planning process, many airports have started looking to future industry growth when planning upgrades. The panel will discuss master planning and infrastructure upgrades from a green perspective. The group will also share case studies and lessons learned, exploring what worked and what did not, how to use IoT to manage assets sustainably, and innovations that can be scaled up.
