GS&P’s Devon Seal Receives Uncommon Engineer Awards from OSPE

Gresham, Smith and Partners is pleased to announce that Devon Seal, P.E., ENV SP, a senior environmental engineer in the firm’s Water + Environment market, was recognized by the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers (OSPE). Seal received the Uncommon Engineer Award from OSPE as well as from the Franklin County Chapter of OSPE. The Uncommon Engineer Award honors distinguished service to the engineering profession; devotion and commitment to the state society and local chapter; high standards of professionalism; and mentorship and teamwork.

GS&P to Conduct Sewer System Assessment for City of Dyersburg

Gresham, Smith and Partners is pleased to announce the firm has been selected to complete a sewer system assessment for the City of Dyersburg. The City entered into a consent agreement with Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) to rehabilitate sewer infrastructure. GS&P will conduct a Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Survey (SSES) for 11 of the City’s 21 basins, conducting manhole inspections, smoke testing and other assessments. The firm will also create a report with recommendations and cost projections to help the City prioritize sewer projects.

Gresham, Smith and Partners announces that Jordan Nolan, NCIDQ, IIDA, an interior designer in the firm’s Healthcare studio in Richmond, has been elected president of the International Interior Design Association’s (IIDA) Virginia/West Virginia Chapter. She will serve as president-elect in 2018-2019 and chapter president in 2019-2020.

Metro Water Services Completes Critical Project Designed by GS&P

Gresham, Smith and Partners is pleased to announce the completion of upgrades to an essential portion of Nashville’s water distribution system. The long-awaited Cumberland City Low Transmission Water Main improvements project consists of more than 24,000 linear feet of 60- and 36-inch and 2,000 linear feet of 12-inch diameter ductile iron water main. This project not only creates redundancy to the area east of Stones River to increase resilience, but also renews a failure-prone section of the distribution system’s vital backbone.

Gresham, Smith and Partners announces the completion of a new patient tower at Baptist Health of Northeast Florida’s Baptist Medical Center South. The new 155,200-square-foot Tower C is an integral component of the master plan for the campus. It was designed by GS&P to expand surgical, labor and delivery, medical/surgical beds and associated support services as well as to provide the space and adaptability needed for growth and innovation in the future.
