Alan Barnard Joins Gresham Smith as Assistant Survey Manager

Gresham Smith is proud to announce that Alan Barnard, R.L.S., has joined the firm as assistant survey manager. He brings 25 years of land surveying experience and has provided boundary, topographic, title and construction staking surveys for commercial, residential and roadway sites. Barnard will focus on growing Gresham Smith’s survey department while continuing to raise the bar on client service.

A registered land surveyor, Alan joins Gresham Smith from Sterling Engineering where he surveyed many large subdivisions. After graduating from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, he began a career that combines his interest in history, passion for the outdoors and proficiency in math. Outside of the office Alan is an avid reader who enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors and traveling with his family.
