Dennis Rehill Joins Gresham Smith as Project Executive in Nashville

Gresham Smith is proud to welcome Dennis Rehill, MRIAI, RIBA, AIA, LEED BD+C, as a Project Executive in the firm’s newly renamed Life and Work Places practice.

Dennis brings more than two decades of experience in architectural design that includes an impressive portfolio across the Middle East, Asia, North America and Europe in large-scale mixed-use, residential and workplace projects. Having led multi-disciplinary teams and supported the expansion of architectural practices for previous firms, he excels in delivering tailored solutions for clients and leading business development efforts. Dennis specializes in designing highly-sustainable mixed-use towers, urban visioning and comprehensive master planning.

Dennis joins Gresham Smith from Dublin-based architectural practice Henry J Lyons International where he worked as a Director, expanding the firm into large-scale, high-rise and international markets. Prior to that, he held leadership positions with notable firms including WATG Urban, Gensler, AS+GG Architecture and Scott Tallon Walker Architects.

He’s worked on a number of impressive projects, including:
• Burj Khalifa – Dubai, UAE
• Clery’s Quarter – Dublin, Ireland
• Huafa Henquin Parcel 47 – Zhuhai, China
• Diego Rivera District – Monterrey, Mexico
• Seattle Residential Towers – Seattle, Washington
• Tianfu Eco-City – Chengdu, China

He holds certifications from the Passivhaus Institut, BREAAM and LEED, and previously started and served as co-chair of the Seattle chapter of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH). Dennis is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI). He received his Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Ball State University. While in Ireland, he also earned his Professional Diploma in Architecture from the University College Dublin and Certificate in Project Management from the Project Management Institute in Dublin.

Dennis is looking forward to getting back to his roots by joining a multi-disciplinary firm and becoming integrated into a city with thriving, ongoing development. He recently relocated to Nashville with his family and enjoys music, photography and traveling outside of the office.
