Gresham Smith Employees Spread Holiday Cheer in Local Communities

Gresham Smith is proud to announce that staff in many of the firm’s  office locations are busy spreading holiday cheer this season, partnering with charitable organizations to give back to the communities they call home.

“We’re committed to making contributions to the communities where we live and work, both through our design efforts as well as giving our time and resources for others in need,” commented Al Pramuk, chairman and CEO, Gresham Smith. “We’re fortunate to have a firm culture that genuinely cares about giving back to the communities we call home. I’m proud of our employees for living out our commitment this holiday season.”

Many of the firm’s offices bought gifts for children and families, hoping to brighten the holiday season. The firm’s Baton Rouge office gave to Brave Heart – Children in Need, Charlotte contributed to the Boys & Girls Club and Louisville employees partnered with the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services. Staff in the firm’s Miami office bought presents for local school children, while Nashville’s Marketing and Accounting teams and the Tampa office adopted families through local organizations. Additionally, Richmond staffers participated in their local American Institute of Architects holiday drive and the firm’s Accounting department, Baton Rouge office and Tampa office donated items to local food banks.

Staff also volunteered their time at events in their communities. Employees in the firm’s Richmond office participated in the “We Care” event at their local Boys and Girls Club, partnering with fellow design professionals to help children complete craft projects. Jackson, Mississippi staff served lunch at Stewpot Ministries and rang bells for The Salvation Army, while employees in the firm’s Nashville office donated funds and supplies to the Humane Society and participated in the ninth annual Gingertown build, which raises funds for a variety of Nashville non-profit organizations.
