November 18, 2019

Gresham Smith has been named one of Charlotte Business Journal’s 2019 Best Places to Work. The firm was recognized as a top medium-sized company based on feedback gained from the firm’s 37 Charlotte office employees. Representatives from the firm attended an outing at TopGolf to accept and celebrate the award on November 8.

“We take immense pride in our firm’s culture. It’s shaped by people who show care for one another and embrace the opportunity we have to create solutions which improve our communities,” said Al Pramuk, chairman and CEO, Gresham Smith. “We know our culture is a driving force behind our growing presence in Charlotte, whether it’s in attracting and retaining top talent—who are up for a challenge and make it fun while making an impact—or through the client experience.”

Gresham Smith is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee and reopened its Charlotte office in 2015. There, the team serves Aviation, Corporate + Urban Design, Healthcare, Industrial and Transportation clients including Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Daimer Trucks North America, Novant Health and the North Carolina Department of Transportation. Active in civic and community organizations, the firm proudly supports numerous organizations including the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance and the United Way of Central Carolinas.

This award joins this year’s growing list of workplace and culture accolades. The firm was also named a top place to work in 2019 by Baton Rouge Business Report, Nashville Business Journal and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. AIA Tennessee dubbed it a Top EP Friendly Firm, which recognizes firms that demonstrate commitment to the professional, personal and leadership development of their Emerging Professionals.
