Gresham Smith is proud to announce the firm has been named a 2022 Best Places to Work by the Dallas Business Journal. This recognition is based on feedback from Gresham Smith’s employees about the firm’s culture, team effectiveness, work engagement and trust in leadership. Dallas is the 10th Gresham Smith office this year to earn recognition for its strong, positive culture.

“At Gresham Smith, we have a long history of fostering a culture where all our employees know that they have the opportunity to grow and thrive, both personally and professionally,” said Gresham Smith CEO Rodney Chester. “We are honored by the fact that the Dallas Business Journal has ranked us among its Best Places to Work list. Our Dallas office has also grown over 60% in the past year thanks to our great culture and outstanding client service.”

Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Gresham Smith established a presence in Dallas in 1996. Locally, the team specializes in providing architecture, interior design and engineering services for the firm’s Aviation, Transportation and Water + Environment clients. Local projects include an update to the city’s Bicycle System Plan, rehabilitation improvements to the Southside Wastewater Treatment Plant, and the modernization of Terminal C at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

Gresham Smith’s Dallas office supports numerous civic and professional organizations, including the American Institute of Architects Dallas chapter, Texas chapter of the American Water Works Association, American Society of Civil Engineers Texas section and the Water Environment Federation. In addition to the firm’s continued support for the United Way, employees in the Dallas office have also planted trees in local parks through volunteer programs with Dallas Parks & Recreation, and participated in the DFW CF Cycle for Life, a bike ride benefitting the cystic fibrosis foundation.

This award is the latest addition to Gresham Smith’s growing list of workplace accolades. The firm has also been recognized this year as a top place to work by the Nashville Business Journal, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Tampa Bay Business Journal, Louisville Business First, Birmingham Business Journal, South Florida Business Journal, Orlando Business Journal, Jacksonville Business Journal and Baton Rouge Business Report.
