November 22, 2019

Gresham Smith Chairman and CEO Al Pramuk has been named a Most Admired CEO by the Nashville Business Journal. Following a nomination, Pramuk was then selected for the honor by his peers in the Nashville business community during a closed voting session. Finalists were honored last night at an awards dinner at the JW Marriott Nashville.

“It is humbling to be selected as a finalist in this program and to be recognized among my peers,” Pramuk commented. “I am fortunate to have such an exemplary executive management team, senior leadership team and our employees who believe in our corporate culture centered on a brand promise of Genuine Ingenuity. Our corporate culture directly translates into how we work with our clients to serve their customers and end-users and into how we support our employees’ efforts to engage with civic and charitable organizations for community vitality.”

Pramuk has served as CEO of Gresham Smith since 2017 and has been a strong proponent of the firm’s smart, sustainable growth. He has worked to align the staff under a common mission to help each other as the firm helps its clients. The firm has received several accolades honoring its distinct culture including being named a best place to work in Atlanta, Baton Rouge, Charlotte and Nashville in 2019. Reinforcing his commitment to helping others, Al contributes his time and expertise as a board member of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, as co-chair of the Transit & Mobility Policy Task Force, serving on the Board of the Nashville Downtown Partnership and of ACE Mentor Nashville.

The Nashville Business Journal’s ‘Most Admired CEOs’ awards identify and celebrate Nashville-area business leaders who “hold their employees, products, and services in the highest regard, run their companies with integrity and are shining examples of how all companies should be run and managed.” The nomination and voting process was structured to ensure that all finalists would be peer-selected.
