Gresham Smith is excited to announce that Natashia Metz has joined the firm’s Water + Environment Market as an environmental professional. Based in Cincinnati, Metz will be responsible for helping clients comply with environmental regulations, enhance the performance of their operations and reduce their impact on the surrounding territory.

With more than 10 years of environmental consulting experience, Metz has authored numerous reports and plans related to soil management, groundwater protection, and spill, prevention control and countermeasures. She has worked with federal, state, and local regulators across the nation, including the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and Ohio Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations, on projects involving site remediation, regulatory compliance, excavation and the disposal of hazardous and nonhazardous waste. She enjoys researching and conducting deep dives into environmental rules and regulations to find solutions that will benefit the client and satisfy the regulator.

“As we strive to deliver innovative solutions for our clients, Natashia will be a critical member of our team,” said Water + Environment Senior Vice President Rob McGormley. “With her unique skillset, resourceful mindset, and extensive dedication to facilitating regulatory compliance, she will be an invaluable resource. I am very excited to have her on board.”

Active in her community, Metz is the Volunteer Assistant Director of the local Girl Scouts Leadership Conference Committee, is the Recreation Committee Chair of her local village council, and a volunteer with Lasagna Love. A true jack-of-all-trades, she also teaches cardio drumming, and enjoys rock climbing and cycling.
