GS&P Adds Architect and Interior Designer to Corporate Practice in Charlotte

Gresham, Smith and Partners announces that Jeff Delsordo, AIA, LEED AP, has joined the firm as a senior architect and Sivilay Xayasaene, NCIDQ, has joined as an interior designer. The duo brings new leadership to Charlotte for the firm’s expanding Corporate + Urban Design practice. They will focus on the growth of C+UD client services in the Carolinas region.

Delsordo brings 20 years of architectural experience, having worked on a broad range of corporate commercial offices and industrial facilities. Some of his projects include a 200,000-square-foot office and shipping/logistics facility for Daimler Trucks North America in South Carolina, a 60,000-square-foot headquarters for Schaeffler Group USA in South Carolina and a 70,000-square-foot headquarters and distribution center for Blickle USA in Georgia. Delsordo was also sustainability director for four years at his previous employer, during which time he oversaw more than 30 LEED-certified projects. He is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree and a Master of Architecture degree.

Xayasaene brings 10 years of experience in design for corporate, hospitality, education and industrial facilities. Her recent Charlotte projects include the 120,000-square-foot Jeld-Wen headquarters, the 200,000-square-foot AvidXchange corporate office and the 4,000-square-foot Libations Kitchen & Bar. Xayasaene is an active member of CREW Charlotte: Commercial Real Estate Women and CoreNet. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design.
