The March/April issue of Airport Improvement magazine features GS&P-designed deicer and stormwater management system at T.F. Green International Airport (PVD). The article, entitled “T.F. Green Airport Combines Science & Nature for Green Deicing Treatment,” profiles the environmentally friendly design solution and highlights the positive impact the facility has had on the surrounding ecosystem.

“As one of only four like it in the world, the deicing management system at PVD is truly cutting edge and forward thinking,” commented John Lengel, P.E., ENV SP, executive vice president at Gresham, Smith and Partners. “The new system helps PVD achieve regulatory compliance with certainty. We’re proud of how this project benefits the client while protecting important local ecosystems.”
