Jeremy Richey Joins Gresham Smith as Studio Design Leader in Nashville

Accomplished architect Jeremy Richey has joined Gresham Smith’s Corporate + Urban Design market as a Studio Design Leader in the Nashville office. Jeremy brings more than two decades of international experience, specializing in sustainable building design. Having completed projects in six countries, he’ll leverage his vast global experience to continue enhancing the quality of sustainability and resiliency expertise that Gresham Smith brings to its clients.

Prior to joining Gresham Smith, Jeremy spent the previous 10 years with Woha Architects in Singapore and several years working in Hong Kong and Norway. His passion for addressing environmental issues through biophilic design is matched with his knowledge of increasing user experience. Jeremy specializes in designing large-scale smart, responsive and integrated projects that complement the surrounding built environment.

He’s worked on a number of high-profile projects, including:

  • Punggol Digital District – Punggol, Singapore
  • “The Hedberg” University of Tasmania Academy of Creative Industries and Performing Arts – Hobart, Tasmania, Australia
  • West Kowloon High Speed Rail Station – Hong Kong, China
  • Lodha Commercial Tower at New Cuffe Parade – Mumbai, India

Jeremy is well-versed in all elements of design thinking. He graduated from Belmont University with his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and went on to earn his Associate of Interior Design from Harrington Institute of Interior Design and a Master of Architecture from Rice University.

A Nashville native, Jeremy is excited to be back in the United States. Outside of the office, Jeremy enjoys ceramics, drawing, furniture making, running and hiking.
