Kelly Knight Hodges Joins Panel on Future of the Office
This summer, Kelly Knight Hodges, market vice president of Corporate + Urban Design, joined a panel held by the Nashville Business Journal exploring what the future office will look like in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.
During the panel, Hodges said designers are shifting their mindset. “We’re no longer making decision decisions,” she said. “The human factor is even more important now. There is definitely a fear factor that we’re trying to overcome. You want your folks to have the evidence that they’re safe … and provide them that level of comfort.”
Additionally, Hodges said: “We don’t see it as a pre-vaccine and post-vaccine scenario. One theme that keeps coming up from our clients is that 100% of our staff will never be in the office at the same time, as a regular mode of doing business.”
