GS&P Adds Jennifer Vrynios to Tallahassee Transportation

Senior Engineer Brings 25 Years of Experience in Traffic Analysis and Safety Studies

Gresham, Smith and Partners announces that Jennifer Vrynios, P.E., PTOE, recently joined GS&P as a senior transportation engineer and project manager in the firm’s Tallahassee office. Vrynios brings more than 25 years of experience in traffic analysis, safety studies, roadway design, and lighting/signal design. In her new role, she will help to strengthen and expand traffic engineering services provided to GS&P’s Florida clients by offering technical leadership and mentorship to employees in the firm’s Tallahassee and Tampa offices.

Vrynios most recently served as traffic engineering team leader at URS Corporation/AECOM in Tallahassee. She was also a transportation group manager and senior transportation engineer for URS Corporation in Denver and Colorado Springs, Colo. Vrynios has led various traffic and corridor studies for FDOT District Two, including scenic highway studies, site access and circulation studies, safety lighting concept plans, traffic diversion studies, truck bypass studies, and pedestrian safety studies. She also led traffic analysis and safety studies for Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise including safety reports, concept traffic reports, interchange justification reports, traffic technical reports and design traffic reports for various Turnpike systems and interchanges. Outside of the office, she is actively involved with the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), for which she served as president of the Florida Big Bend Chapter for two years. Vrynios earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Valparaiso University.
