GS&P Announces New COO and Changes to Executive Management Team

Timely and Orderly Transition Supports Leadership Succession

Gresham, Smith and Partners announces its Board of Directors has approved a leadership succession plan for its executive management team. Rodney Chester, currently senior vice president of operations and member of the executive management team, will succeed Brackney Reed as the firm’s chief operating officer. Reed, a member of the executive management team since 1985, will remain with the firm as senior vice president focused on business development and government relations. Dwayne West, the firm’s chief financial officer, will join Al Pramuk, chairman and chief executive officer, Randall E. Gibson, chief strategy officer and president of international practice, and Chester on the four member executive management team. These changes will take effect January 1, 2018.

As COO, Rodney Chester, P.E., will be responsible for the overall operations of the firm in the U.S. and abroad focusing on processes and procedures impacting profitability and quality of work. He was appointed to the board of directors in 2015 and has been with GS&P since 1997. Chester has more than 20 years of experience and has served in various operational leadership roles throughout the firm.

Dwayne West, CPA, serves as GS&P’s CFO, overseeing the firm’s financial strategy and performance as well as the accounting operations of the company. He was appointed to the board of directors in 2016. He has been with GS&P since 2001 and has more than 25 years of financial operation and accounting experience working as both a certified public accountant and as a manager of financial operations for a private company. Prior to GS&P, West served eight years with national accounting firm Arthur Andersen LLP.
