Tracy Worley Joins Gresham Smith’s Building Engineering Team

Gresham Smith is excited to welcome Tracy Worley, P.E., F.P.E. as a senior mechanical engineer in the firm’s Building Engineering market. Based out of Gresham Smith’s Nashville office, Tracy brings more than 25 years of experience in project management and business development, and will focus on advancing the firm’s mechanical and fire protection engineering work.

Tracy has professional licensure in 18 states, and has overseen hundreds of projects from planning to completion and mentored dozens of other engineers in fire protection and mechanical roles throughout his career. He has worked with both private and federal contractors to design airports, assisted living facilities, high rise buildings, museums, performing arts centers, and schools. Tracy is dedicated to building occupant safety, and providing different and unique design solutions for clients.

Tracy earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Memphis. He is a member of the National Council of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors, the National Fire Protection Association, and the National Society of Fire Protection Engineers.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, watching sports, and spending time with his family. He is a Tennessee native and has lived in all corners of the state, including Knoxville, Memphis, and Nashville.
