GS&P provided programming, space planning and interior design services in support of an interior build-out for Jackson National Planning Corporation (NPC), a subsidiary of Jackson National Life Insurance Company® (Jackson®). The 31,000-square-foot workplace in NPC’s headquarters city of El Segundo, Calif., accommodates the evolving needs of a growing staff and creates an inspiring and eco-friendly atmosphere.

The project comprises one-and-a-half floors of a three-building campus. It features open workstations, meeting and training rooms, lounge spaces, two cafes and coffee bars. To achieve the “quintessentially California” design that NPC desired, the team incorporated plenty of the company’s classic blue shade, driftwood and charcoal wood tones, textured accent panels, decorative screen walls, comfortable furniture, custom artwork and plants throughout the office to establish a connection with nature. The result is a functional, sustainable and employee-friendly workplace that supports the company’s long-term goals and provides a coastal-inspired atmosphere that compliments the surrounding community.
