One of three outpatient service buildings at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center, the Women’s and Family Health Center was expressly designed with the whole family in mind. Gresham Smith conceptualized the 16,600-square-foot building to tie in with the overall historic theme of the campus’ main hospital, as well as the Oncology & Surgery Center and the Wellness & Education Center.

The two-story building places family practice services on the first floor, while women’s services encompass the second floor. The state-of-the-art center shares a color palette and details with the hospital’s labor and delivery unit, and features soft shades and white interior woodwork.

Distinctive yet beautifully integrated with the medical village’s historic design vocabulary, the leading-edge Women’s & Family Heath Center serves the entire family’s healthcare needs, as well as those of the city of Americus.
