Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, is the U.S. Military’s only training center for military working dogs. When the center’s kennel building began experiencing moisture issues, Gresham Smith’s commissioning agents worked to identify the source of unwanted condensation. After determining the building’s envelope wasn’t the culprit, we inspected the mechanical systems, ultimately discovering that the building was under negative pressure. We designed and implemented improvements, enhancing the training and recovery environment for the military’s four-legged service members and increasing the facility’s operational efficiencies.
