FDOT District 5 Safety Technical Support and Public Outreach

Driven by Florida Department of Transportation’s mission to bring traffic fatalities and serious injuries to zero, we are spearheading safety enhancements within District 5 that includes professional, technical and public outreach services. The contract encompasses a wide range of safety strategies and is designed to pave the way for a safer, more accessible and sustainable transportation network for all users. Key activities include speed management evaluations; the development of mitigating safety strategies, campaigns and public safety announcements; monitoring of pilot projects; and facilitating an annual Central Florida Safety Summits, all aiming to make a positive and enduring impact to the safety of our communities.
