Fanatics, the global leader in officially licensed sports merchandise, looked to create cohesive workspaces across its multiple office locations and called on Gresham Smith to bring their vision to life. Using architecture, interior design and branded environments, our project team created offices that tell the brand’s story and reflect the spirit of sports. Fanatics operates in several states and multiple nations and our design team has been hard at work creating custom, consistent spaces that tell one brand story. Our designs for Fanatics’ New York City and Hong Kong offices are complete and we are currently working on designs for offices in Florida, Colorado and Nevada.

The Ultimate Game Day Experience

Each office space is designed with a seamless “game day” experience in mind. The reception area, or “pre-game” experience, channels the same excitement and anticipation a fan might experience tailgating or entering a stadium. The showrooms and office areas are the “in game” experience where the action happens. The staff collaboration areas and break rooms embody the “post-game” experience and are designed to reflect the laid-back atmosphere a fan might find at a local sports bar or stadium concessions.

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

While Fanatics’ nine different teams each play a different position, they work together to connect fans with the sports they love. Each office location is designed to create a collaborative environment for employees, using enclaves and break out areas to encourage impromptu brainstorm sessions.

Reflecting the Spirit of Sports

Our branded environments team worked closely with Fanatics leadership to create an authentic employee and fan experience. From flexible furniture and thoughtful finishes to game tables and eye-catching graphics, the company’s new spaces tell the story of their brand and reflect the culture of the global sports retailer.
