A Smart Workplace Solution
Along with designing the space for designers, developing a workplace that was productive, fun and creative was a key challenge given the wide range of disciplines among our employees and their diverse workstyles and processes. By deeply engaging staff in the design process through charrettes, surveys, focus groups, one-on-one interviews, observation sessions, visioning sessions and coffee talks, we ultimately arrived at a smart workplace solution that supports choice of workstyle, mobility, wellness, environmental stewardship and a rich sense of community.
A Showplace for the Working World
Representing a dramatic shift in how we work and prioritize space, our new headquarters serves as a showplace for the working world while providing our staff with a more open environment. It also features a variety of collaborative and heads-down focus spaces that support workstyle flexibility. Other employee-friendly elements include advanced technology throughout the office, abundant access to daylight and views, and a communicating stair, crucial to the effective connectivity between the workplace’s three hubs.
