Gresham Smith is excited to announce that Harris Hassan, P.E., has joined the firm as the Transportation market’s new bridge leader in Texas.
With more than 13 years of experience in structural bridge design and inspection, Hassan brings a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions on complex infrastructure projects. His expertise spans a wide range of design and inspection projects across highway, transit, and aviation infrastructure. His background includes:
- Complex bridge design leadership for major design-build projects in Texas and Illinois
- Client collaboration and interdisciplinary coordination, particularly with major transportation agencies such as TxDOT, IDOT and the Illinois Tollway
- Bridge inspection and condition rating experience for transit authorities, including the MTA in New York City and the CTA in Chicago.
In his new role, Hassan will lead Gresham Smith’s bridge practice across Texas, working closely with state and local clients to deliver transportation infrastructure projects that improve connectivity, mobility and community growth. His combination of deep technical knowledge and passion for relationship-building will position him to expand Gresham Smith’s portfolio across the region.
