Gresham Smith’s Tim O’Brien to Speak at Texas Water

Gresham Smith is proud to announce that Vice President Tim O’Brien, P.E., ENV SP, will speak at Texas Water on Friday, April 14, 2023, in Houston, Texas. He will join representatives from Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) and LAN to will highlight how the project team analyzed the existing non-potable water system at DWU’s Central Wastewater Treatment Plan and developed a plan for upgrading the system to enhance flexibility and resiliency.

Non-potable water systems play a vital role in supporting the functions of the critical processes and equipment at wastewater treatment plants; however, the system’s function, size, and ability to support the critical systems can often be taken for granted. During this session, presenters will share a case study highlighting how they evaluated the existing non-potable water system at Dallas Water Utilities’ Central Wastewater Treatment Plant, performing analysis and modeling to provide recommendations for upgrades to enhance flexibility and resiliency for the non-potable water delivery system.
