Made in America

Located on a 1,400-acre greenfield site, the 1.7 million-square-foot facility began production in October 2017. The plant comprises a U.S. headquarters for Giti and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for the production of passenger car radial tires and light/commercial truck tires, with additional planned developments to enhance the site.

A Driving Force for the Future

Gresham Smith’s design effectively balances costs with long-term durability, functional efficiency and future adaptability. Our scope of work included a site master plan along with full-service architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, civil and process design. Our team utilized 3D modeling software to better communicate the design to the client and to help them visualize the final product.

Marking Giti Tire’s eighth tire manufacturing plant globally, the new world-class facility is not only reshaping the company’s economic future but is also impacting the local community and changing lives by bringing an estimated 1,700 new jobs to Chester County over the next decade.
