A New Landmark in Midtown Nashville

Gresham Smith is partnering with longtime client GBT Realty on a 27-story mixed-use tower at the Elliston Place/West End Avenue split in Nashville called The Sinclair. The neo-art deco design will include residential units and ground-level commercial space. The design utilizes strong lines, texture and dynamic form to create slender verticality and movement within the sky—a nod to the art deco aesthetic that came before it. The building’s sawtooth and terraced features create purposeful movement throughout its height, further ensuring a design that is an exciting, original and memorable addition to Nashville.

The multifamily development, which will connect to Centennial Park and Vanderbilt University, provides an activated urban realm highlighted by ample sidewalks, a dedicated porte-cochere, two-story retail and outdoor dining opportunities. The project will include green space at the split and be serviced by below-grade parking.
