As market vice president for Life and Work Places, Mohammed Abu-Tayeh leads his team with a sharp focus on optimizing market operations and enhancing project delivery outcomes to align with the firm’s Strategic Plan. He is committed to delivering quality services, fostering the professional growth of his market staff, and ensuring lasting client satisfaction.

A certified project management professional, Mohammed brings more than 20 years of experience in project development, design and construction processes, and operations management. Throughout his tenure at Gresham Smith, he has played pivotal roles in establishing the firm’s former Dubai office, overseeing operations in our Miami office, and spearheading efforts to enhance project management capabilities across the firm. As a project manager, he has lent his expertise to a variety of Healthcare and Life and Work Places projects, including Jackson North Medical Hospital in Miami, the Moore Building in Nashville, and the Rashid Medical Complex in Dubai.

Before stepping into the role as MVP, Mohammad held several key positions in multiple markets at Gresham Smith, including assistant director of Project Delivery Excellence Project Management, where he continually raised the bar for quality and project management standards across the firm. Before joining Gresham Smith, Mohammed served in corporate and operational roles for a Dubai-based international firm, and prior to that held multiple roles at Turner Construction in the Pacific Northwest.
