Gresham Smith is excited to announce that Chris Weinman has been promoted to strategic relationship manager. The newly created role will serve to strategically drive multimarket business growth in Nashville and Middle Tennessee through coordinated engagement with leaders, clients and community stakeholders.
“We’ve called Nashville ‘home’ for nearly 60 years,” said Gresham Smith CEO and Board Chair Rodney Chester. “As Nashville’s largest architecture and engineering firm, we’ve worked with a wide variety of public- and private-sector clients to deliver critical projects that keep our city moving. Our work has helped shape the Nashville skyline and has positively impacted the infrastructure throughout the region. Through Chris’ new role, we’re increasing our focus on serving Middle Tennessee clients to help solve their most pressing challenges.”
For more than a decade, Chris has worked across market sectors at Gresham Smith to promote collaboration and growth. Most recently, as a Marketing team manager, he oversaw the pursuit of projects for multiple markets in Tennessee and throughout the country.
Outside of Gresham Smith, Weinman is actively involved in his community. He serves as the board president of Walk Bike Nashville, a nonprofit dedicated to making Nashville more walkable, bikeable and livable through education, engagement and advocacy. Chris connected with the organization after completing the Young Leaders Council training program in 2017.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and Theatre from Vanderbilt University. He lives in East Nashville with his family.
