Gresham Smith Named a Best Place to Work in Tampa Bay for Fourth Straight Year

Tampa Bay Business Journal Recognizes Firm for Exceptional Workplace Culture

Gresham Smith is proud to announce its Tampa office has been named one of the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Best Places to Work for the fourth year in a row. The recognition was based on feedback from employees about areas including firm culture, team effectiveness, work engagement and trust in leadership.

“We’re honored by the fact that we’ve been consistently recognized as one of Tampa’s Best Places to Work,” said Gresham Smith CEO Rodney Chester. “As a firm, building and maintaining one of the best cultures in the A/E industry is one of the lenses through which we measure our success. Our employees genuinely care for each other and the communities they serve, and that care is reflected in the solutions we deliver to our clients.”

Gresham Smith established its Tampa presence in 1997 and the firm recently relocated to a new workspace specifically designed to support a hybrid remote/in-office workstyle in The Loft at Midtown Tampa. Locally, Gresham Smith specializes in providing architecture, engineering, and interior design services for Aviation, Healthcare, Life and Work Places and Transportation clients. Recent local projects include the Atrium Building at Tampa International Airport’s SkyCenter development, HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital’s new Hospital for Endocrine Surgery, Rithm at Uptown, Baker McKenzie Tampa Center and a contract to complete safety studies and design throughout the Florida Department of Transportation’s District 7.

In addition to the firm’s involvement with the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, the office also partners with the Tampa Downtown Partnership, United Way Suncoast, a Brighter Community, Bike/Walk Tampa Bay, and the Boys & Girls Club of Tampa Bay to give back to the community.

This award joins a growing list of accolades for Gresham Smith’s Tampa team. The office was named a Best Place to Work by the Tampa Bay Business Journal in 2022, 2021 and 2020.
