Michael Varner Joins Gresham Smith as a Practice Leader in Georgia Transportation Group
Gresham Smith is excited to welcome Michael Varner, P.E., PMP, CCM, to our firm as a practice leader based in our Midtown Atlanta office.
Varner has 20 years of experience leading the delivery of transportation programs across the country. He brings a wealth of expertise in construction management, transportation operations and maintenance. Throughout his career, he has managed complex projects and led high-performing teams focused on exceeding client expectations.

An Atlanta native, Varner earned his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering technology from Georgia Southern University and began his career in Georgia working as a consultant on construction projects for the Georgia Department of Transportation. He lives with his family in Snellville, Georgia. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
