A Modern Landmark in Southeast Jacksonville

Highly visible from J. Turner Butler Boulevard, one of Jacksonville’s busiest roadways, the new facility is a modern landmark on Jacksonville’s southeast side. The building can be seen from every angle on surrounding roadways, which required camouflaging the back-of-house functions. Wood accents and earth tones on the building’s modern exterior provide aesthetic warmth, and the glass and wood canopy over the main entrance offers shelter from the elements and creates a sense of arrival.

Prioritizing a Pleasant Patient Experience

To prioritize patient comfort and create a sense of calm, the main lobby features warm earth tones, durable terrazzo flooring, and a custom wood feature wall with integrated lighting. The first floor houses an ambulatory surgery center with four operating rooms, two endoscopy rooms, a separate pain procedure suite with four procedure rooms, and a dedicated MRI suite.

Visitors to UF Health clinics on the second floor enjoy views of the large green roof while waiting, and standardized exam rooms organized around centralized work hubs create an efficient, pleasant patient experience. Located on the third floor, Jax Spine & Pain Center includes exam rooms, two procedure rooms, infusion rooms, a lab, offices, staff support spaces, and open waiting areas with large windows and views of the surrounding neighborhood.
