Gresham Smith is pleased to announce that Antroy Singleton has joined the firm as Georgia Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Department Leader. Based in the firm’s Midtown Atlanta office, Singleton will lead the growth of Gresham Smith’s CEI practice in Georgia, cultivate client relationships and oversee the delivery of construction management and inspection services.
“We are excited to welcome Antroy to Gresham Smith,” said Matt D’Angelo, Executive Vice President of Transportation at Gresham Smith. “His extensive construction management experience, strong public-sector relationships and proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams make him well suited to expand our CEI services in Georgia. His knowledge of transportation programs and commitment to quality project delivery will benefit our clients and the communities they serve.”
Singleton brings more than 30 years of experience in construction management, materials testing and maintenance management. He has worked with local, state and federal agencies, including the Federal Highway Administration, Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Transit Administration, National Park Service and state departments of transportation. His expertise includes contract interpretation, compliance monitoring, owner representation and managing project scope, schedule and budget.
His experience spans roadway and bridge construction, streetscape improvements, stormwater infrastructure and large-scale capital programs. Most recently, he supported Rockdale County’s reconstruction of the Klondike Road, McDaniel Mill Road and Hurst Road intersection. He also served as construction manager for the City of Atlanta’s $550 million Renew Atlanta Bond and Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax program, overseeing construction engineering and inspection activities across streets, bridges, sidewalks, traffic signals and public facilities.
“I’m excited to join Gresham Smith and help grow the firm’s CEI business across Georgia,” said Singleton. “My career has given me the opportunity to work with agencies and communities at every level of government, and I look forward to applying that experience to build strong teams, develop lasting client relationships and advance transportation through CEI excellence and leadership.”
