Gresham Smith Named a Best Place to Work in Nashville

Nashville Business Journal Recognizes Firm for Excellent Workplace Culture and Overall Job Satisfaction

Gresham Smith is proud to announce that the firm has been named one of Nashville Business Journal’s 2022 Best Places to Work. This recognition is based on feedback from Gresham Smith’s more than 400 Nashville employees about the firm’s culture, team effectiveness, work engagement and trust in leadership.

“Our goal is to have the best culture of any A/E firm in the world, and I am thrilled that we have repeatedly been recognized as a best place to work—not just in Nashville, but across our entire firm,” said Gresham Smith CEO Rodney Chester. “We want Gresham Smith to be a place where employees love to come to work, have opportunities to grow, and know that what they do is having a positive impact and helps create healthy and thriving communities.”

Gresham Smith was founded in Nashville in 1967 and has played a significant role in shaping the Middle Tennessee region’s growth and development over the last 55 years.

The firm and its staff are heavily involved in several civic, industry and charitable organizations including the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, Williamson County Chamber of Commerce, Tennessee Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), Tennessee and Middle Tennessee Chapters of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), United Way, American Heart Association and GraceWorks Ministries.
