Kari Pucker Joins Gresham Smith’s Transportation Team as Project Manager

Experienced Traffic Engineer to Advance Safety Practice

Gresham Smith is excited to welcome Kari Pucker, P.E., PTOE, IMSA II as a Project Manager in the firm’s Transportation market. Based out of the firm’s Jacksonville office, Pucker brings eight years of experience in project management, transportation engineering, planning studies, and will focus on advancing the Transportation market’s safety and traffic operations work.

Prior to joining Gresham Smith, she spent time at the Florida Department of Transportation. Pucker has significant experience in signal timing, traffic operations and safety, intelligent transportation system design and travel demand modeling. Her responsibilities at previous roles have included traffic modeling, traffic volume development, crash analyses, safety analyses, signal warrant studies and GIS analysis. Significant project experience includes achieving Interchange Access Request approval for several improvements in Jacksonville including the widening of I-10 from I-295 to I-95.

Pucker received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in civil engineering from University of North Florida – Jacksonville.

Outside of the office, Kari prides herself by being an active representative in her local engineering industry. She currently serves as the Vice President for the Institute of Transportation Engineers Florida Puerto Rico District. In addition, she sits on the University of North Florida’s Engineering Advisory Board. Pucker is also a proud mom to a nine-month old.
