Gresham Smith is excited to announce that Water Resources Engineer Diana Chumak, P.E., and Senior Environmental Engineer Santiago Velez, P.E., will present at the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) North Texas Section’s 33rd annual February Seminar on Tuesday, Feb. 10, in Hurst, Texas.
Chumak and Velez will lead a session titled “A Gallon of Water for Your Query: Sustainable Approaches to Quenching AI’s Thirst.” Their presentation will explore how the growing demand for artificial intelligence is shaping water and wastewater treatment needs and how utilities can adapt treatment strategies in response.
The session will highlight the intersection of sustainability, digital transformation and environmental responsibility, offering practical insights for water and environment professionals navigating emerging challenges in resource and energy management.
