Gresham Smith Accelerates Healthcare Market Growth in Denver with Five Key Hires 

Strategic Architecture and Design Additions to Enhance Healthcare Expertise and Expand Capacity to Support Clients and Projects

Gresham Smith is pleased to welcome five new healthcare professionals to the Denver office. By adding both architecture and interior design talent, the firm continues to strengthen the Healthcare practice and enhance project delivery for clients, locally and beyond. 

“We are excited to announce the addition of new healthcare professionals to our Denver team,” said Executive Vice President of Healthcare Penny Houchens, IIDA, LEED AP, NCIDQ, Lean.  “Their specialized expertise will significantly strengthen our ability to deliver innovative and impactful healthcare projects. With their knowledge and skills, we are better equipped to meet the unique needs of our clients and advance our mission of creating exceptional healthcare environments.” 

Angie Aguilera, AIA, LEED AP, has joined the firm as a Senior Architect. She has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare design, coordination and construction administration services. Angie earned a Bachelor of Science in architecture from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.  

Tony Paul, AIA, NCARB, EDAC, WELL AP, serves as an Architect and brings more than 17 years of healthcare-focused experience supporting planning, design and project delivery with multidisciplinary teams. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture from California College of the Arts and an Associate of Applied Science in drafting technology from Boise State University.  

Mere Campbell, NCIDQ, joins Gresham Smith as an Interior Designer with extensive experience translating complex client goals into thoughtful design solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality and operational efficiency. She earned a Bachelor of Science in interior design from Arizona State University.  

Keira Clough serves as an Interior Design Project Coordinator, focusing on design standards and production support. She recently earned a Bachelor of Science degree in interior architecture and design from Colorado State University.  

Ashley Broyles brings strengths in design support, visualization and coordination as an Architecture Project Coordinator.  She recently earned a Master of Science in advanced architectural design at Columbia University, along with a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech.
