Gresham Smith is excited to announce that Rob Hennes has joined the firm as Vice President and will lead its Healthcare Strategic Consulting practice. With more than 15 years of experience guiding health systems, physician enterprises and investors through complex strategic, financial and operational decisions, Hennes brings a proven ability to translate market dynamics and clinical priorities into strategies that drive long‑term value.

Hennes’ background spans healthcare strategy, capital planning, network growth, real estate advisory and site‑of‑care optimization, making him uniquely positioned to help clients meet current needs and plan for the future of care delivery. Throughout his career, he has advised on more than $250 million in healthcare capital deployment and has built and executed strategic pipelines exceeding $190 million, partnering closely with C‑suite leaders at major health systems—including HCA, CHS and Tenet.

Hennes completed a Hospital Administration Fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, earned his Master of Business Administration with a healthcare concentration from Belmont University, and holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Wisconsin. He is a licensed Tennessee Real Estate Broker and an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the CCIM Institute, Nashville Healthcare Council, Ambulatory Surgery Center Association, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
