Gresham Smith is pleased to announce that Alexis Gaskins, RID, NCIDQ, IIDA, has been named the new Office Leader for the firm’s Orlando location.
“Alexis’s extensive project expertise and strong commitment to building culture and collaborative teams make her the natural choice for the office leader role, as we continue to expand our presence in Orlando,” said Gresham Smith Chief Operating Officer Peter Oram.
Gaskins joined Gresham Smith in 2018 and serves as a Client Principal, Project Manager and Interior Designer in the firm’s Healthcare market. She is passionate about building strong client relationships and partnering closely with project teams to deliver thoughtful, high-performing healthcare environments that support exceptional patient and staff experiences. She is also an active leader in the Central Florida design community, having served on local IIDA boards for more than six years in a variety of leadership roles, helping advance the profession through mentorship, advocacy and industry engagement. Gaskins earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Florida State University and holds NCIDQ certification.
“I’m honored to lead our Orlando office and committed to building a supportive, connected team where everyone feels valued,” said Gaskins. “By creating that sense of community, we strengthen our relationships with our clients and the local community, and I’m excited for what we’ll achieve together and the positive impact we’ll make.”
Orlando’s previous Office Leader, Liz Chodosh, is relocating to Jacksonville to lead the Healthcare studio’s design practice and support the market’s growth strategy.
